Divx and Xvid

How can I play Divx or Xvid movie files through Sage? I have a few movie files on another PC that I can play fine but when I try to play them through sage all I get is sound. I would also like to convert some of my recordings to Divx or Xvid so they will take up less room.....just not too familiar with these type files.....I am also using SageMC

Dumb question, but are you sure you installed xvid and divx codecs on the Sage PC? Just have to ask
