NO VIDEO/AUDIO black and white
hey guys.. just installed sagetv last night and spent about 4 hours trying to get it to work with no sucess.. I have a phillips Tv capture card and everything is installed (driver wise).. When i open sage all i get is fuzzy black and white picture on every channel (from my coax cable line).. I am running it through a splitter but also tried straight form the wall and still nothing..
Any ideas? ALSO: Im using a philips saa713x capturte card!! Thanks Last edited by eaks; 03-14-2007 at 05:16 PM. |

Ok.. im getting really mad at wasting all my time trying to get this working (which if i do get it working will be pretty damn awesome).. i have searched and havent found one other person having a problem with getting any channels (all mine are black and white scrambled) even tho it works fine on my tv with teh same coax cable..
Is there a way to test if my capture card is even working at all? Please i think this software looks amazing i would just like to be able to use it! |

hey.. its a hardware capture card that was bought about 6 months ago.. ive tried using it in winDVR, TVR and sage.. winDVR and TVR all crash out when opening and sage doesn't give me any picture video..
Any ideas? |

Did you contact Sage to see if they had any info regarding that card.
That sucks that 3 different PVR programs are having problems with it. As for forum help, I think you will be very limited in support here if it is an uncommon card. The forums are for user-to-user support, and if no users have used this card..... You need to contact Sage at support@sagetv.com for official support.

If it's crashing in all programs and not just Sage then I would uninstall and reinstall all the drivers. Check the website for updated drivers.
