Missing shows in the guide.

Somehow some shows that were recorded are now missing and do not even show up in the past airings list. I have searched using sage and the webserver and neither of these shows show up anymore.

Dirt 'You Don't Know Jack' - aired Jan 30, 2007
CSI 'Meet Market' - aired Feb 1, 2007
Dirt 'The Secret Lives of Altar Girls' - aired Feb 6, 2007
Boston Legal 'Selling Sickness' - aired Feb 6, 2007

Could they have been removed to make room for new recordings? Or, could the recordings have been corrupt in some way? A log could have details about why the recordings were deleted; w/o it, there are only guesses about possible reasons.

Once removed, if there is no data SageTV needs to remember about the shows, the airing detail can get deleted from the database when it removes older data that it thinks is no longer needed. (Version 6.1 will retain details for any show that gets recorded, even after the file is removed.)

No, these favorites are set to NOT delete ANY recordings.
Can you think of any way to get this data back into the database so I can add these show back into the recorded TV section once I have them again?
I have noticed that Sage keeps info for shows that were recorded but deleted. Even ones I have marked 'do not like'. But for some strange reason it seems I am missing a block of guide data and shows ranging from around Jan 30 - Feb 6th. And these are show I know it recorded, I just haven't watched them yet.

There's another possibility: if there are EPG data problems & SageTV thought they were incorrect recordings, I think it could remove them for that reason too. But, in this case, the EPG data can't be kept because the data isn't for that show any more. I don't really know how this could/might happen, but I would follow up with SageTV if you think you have EPG problems with the data they are providing from Zap2It.

You can't re-enter the old EPG data. You could try setting wizard/disable_maintenance=true for the time being to prevent removal of old data that SageTV thinks is no longer needed. I would reset it to false after v6.1 comes out. The only way to get the old data again is to use an older copy of wiz.bin, but there is a possibility of problems with more recent recordings, so I would only revert if you really needed to.

you can convert an imported video to an Archived Sage Recording (adding show/episode info) using my webserver (edit show info at bottom of detailed info page)

So add the data myself. I'll take a look at that.

I looked at the files thru the webserver, but it shows them as 0.00GB in size. Click the 'edit info' button gives me an error: 'show title' is not writeable.

FYI they are .avi files I have acquired to replace my missing recordings.

FIXED.
I had to do a rescan in Sage to pick up the file name changes and such. Thanks a ton nielm!
