Don't want ripped versions of shows showing up in Archived Shows menu

Hi,

I use virtualdub and a makefile to rip my programs down to 320x240 to watch with a handheld device. It would be nice to have them available in SageTV as well, but some of the ripped shows it decides to put in "Archived Shows recorded with SageTV" and some in "Imported Video Files." I want them all be in "Imported Video Files" because I want all my video files to show up in one menu, including ones that may have come from somewhere other than SageTV. How do I do this?

Thanks in advance.

One way would be to remove the ID code numbers from the end of the filename. Those numbers are how SageTV connects the file to its airing data.
