I had ch36 physical start degrading on my 4 hauppauge 2250 tuners. I went into sagetv.properties and began deleting epg stuff and rebooting. Eventually when I went into the channel setup->scan for available channels it no longer had anything but full scan. When I did that the tuners were fine again.

Is there any white sheet on sagetv.properties? I would like to write a cleaner that would get rid of all of the hundreds of extra stations and other crap that has accumulated.

Why not just disable the channel from the Setup Video Sources?

The tuner channels had been remapped so many times that many of them were on channels different than reported, or if on the right channel it could not tune it in.
