SageTV 7 + .Properties files...

Do .Properties files not work in SageTV 7? I installed the trial on my laptop before switching over from 6 on my server just to test it out - and so far I haven't been able to get any metadata stuff to work. Is it no longer supported - or am I just doing things wrong?

Just random movies/tv shows (not recordings). With SageTV 6 it seemed i could just throw a filename.avi.properties and I could get it to show a custom title, description, the actors, etc. I was using SageMC though - so can't recall if that was a feature of SageTV in general or maybe it was just SageMC specific?

Ah, gotcha. Im not sure on that one either. it seems as though my setup with Sazge V7 is pulling SOME of the properties files in for my movies/blu-rays, but others are being left out.

i do have bmt setup, and when i make changes via BMT the changes seem to stick in V7....maybe try installing the metadata tools for V7 and see how that goes..
