.my vs .properties files?

Hi,

Why would you use .my files, when the scrapping tools seem to add a lot more information to .properties files?

Worried I'm missing something!

I don't even know what .my files are, but i suspect that SageMC can use them. There may be another tool somewhere that creates those.

Sage documents their .properties format as a means of getting external metadata into SageTV. But, not all fields that are listed in a .properties file will be imported into SageTV. Typically, for bmt, I identify non sage fields using "x-" prefix. I used to use underscore prefix.

Thanks Stuckless. Yes MC can use them, and EPs tool can create them, but they are a bit naff compared to .properties
