SageTV properties file(s)

Lots and lots of stuff listed in the various SageTv properties files. Is there a "help" file defining what all the entries mean ? Some are self explainatory but others, eg "zzz=true", no clue.

You could check this link:

but I'm not sure how current it is.

Also bear in mind that third-party plugins store their properties in the same file, so you probably won't find them all documented in one place.

If I had to guess, my guess would be that zzz has something to do with the Sleep function.

No, there is no comprehensive list of every possible property setting. This is because while some can be changed by the user, many are intended for use by the application to track settings that aren't intended to be changed by the user. Some properties are in the PDF manual, which might have a few more than the txt file linked above, but even it is not a complete listing & never will be. Essentially, manually changing property settings is not fully documented or supported.

Understandable, just like changing stuff in Windows registry, bad things can happen.

Maybe an update to version 5 of the configurable properties list Greg pointed to ?
