Setup | Set Up Video Sources | Preview Works OK, but TV | Program Guide Does not?

I can preview channel 3.1 in Setup | Set Up Video Sources , no problem.

But Sage throws "No Signal" when I try to tune it in Program Guide.

Also, the show's title in Program Guide (some sort of sitcom series) is obviously out of synch with the actual content being broadcast (a news show).

Seems like I must have my tuner set up OK and it seems like at least part of SageTV is ok....

Can anybody point me to a possible problem area?

Are you sure Sage is using the same tuner in both cases? During setup you can select a specific tuner, but from the program guide Sage chooses (seemingly at random).

Don’t forget if you have a multi-tuner device that requires scanning for channels, you usually have to scan each tuner separately.

I had the same (similar?) situation. In Denver, when I used SageTV to scan for Channels, I found listed two Channels with the same numbers; 3-x and 10-x.

For instance: (applies to all sub-channels)

3-1 KSBSCD [19-3-1]
3-1 KCDODT [23-3-1]
10-1 KSBSCD [19-10-1]
10-1 KCDODT [23-10-1]

However, when I used HDHomeRun Setup to scan, only the 19-x-x was found. I, then, went back to SageTV Setup and found that the 23-x-x Channel was enabled and 19-x-x was disabled. When I switched that, everything worked as expected.

I believe this is actually an issue with Schedules Direct and not with SageTV.
