Color issues and Hauppauge 1600

Anyone ever encounter issue where the color goes out of whack (heavy red/purple, unnatural)?

Been troubleshooting this going out of whack, back to normal, out of whack issue.

Have seen it on multiple setups taping same thing, happens same time.
If I switch source to DirecTV on the TV, colors look fine.

Any ideas what could be happening and more importantly how to prevent?

Although the issue hasn’t happened in 2 days.
Just totally strange
