Choppy Video After Resuming From Minimized Window

I have V9.1.6.747 running on a new install of 64-bit Win10 Creators. Everything is running fine, except when I minimize the SageTV window so that it is no longer visible and then bring it back up, video is really choppy (audio is fine). To reset, I have to exit Sage or take it into sleep mode. This happens on TV recordings as well as live TV. This behavior does NOT happen when viewing video ripped from disks. My specs are:
System Drive: Samsung 850 pro
Storage Drive: 10TB HGST 7200rpm drive
CPU: Kaby Lake 7700K
Memory: 2x16GB G.Skill

Any ideas? Is there a workaround for this behavior?

So, I started off fresh with another install of Win10, and I'm getting the same choppy video when resuming from a minimized window. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Never had this problem before.

My video settings are:
Video Renderer: EVR
MPEG2 Video Decoder: SageTV MPEG Video Decoder
SageTV MPEG Acceleration: Yes
H.264 Video Decoder Filter: Microsoft DTV-DVD
VC-1 Video Decoder Filter: Default
Media Player for non-MPEG files: Direct Show
DScaler: Disabled
Audio Renderer: Default
MPEG2 Audio Decoder Filter: Default
HD Audio Decoder Filter: Default
Audio Playback Delay: 0
HD Audio Output: Disabled

If you installed v9 clean and not over v7 then you do not have the sagetv video decoders... so you need to install LAV or something else and select that.

I installed LAV decoders before hand.

The stuttering video I see also effects the OSD that comes up when you mouse click on a TV program. This is the OSD that brings up the timeline on bottom and program info on top. When resuming a minimized window, the movement of the OSD is not fluid but rather stutters when it comes up.

I am not sure what is causing the stuttering, but in your list of settings you do not have LAV selected.

Thanks for your comments. So I installed the LAV filters (which should have been installed with MPC, but maybe they weren't). I changed the following settings:
MPEG2 Video Decoder Filter: LAV Video Decoder
H.264 Video Decoder Filter: LAV Video Decoder
VC-1 Video Decoder Filter: I left this at default
MPEG2 Audio Decoder Filter: LAV Audio Decoder
HD Audio Decoder Filter: LAV Audio Decoder

Should all of the filters be changed to LAV, as I did above? Or are there only some that must be LAV?

Also, which decoder filter decodes ATSC LiveTV from DirectTV....would that be MPEG2 or H.264?

Any input would be very helpful. Thanks!
