Repeating one second of video 9 or 10 times then resuming.

Since upgrading to 6.4.3, and still with 6.4.4, I am experiencing a random fault that happens quite a lot, and isn't unique to one type of file.

Basically, after a random period of time, it will playback the last second of video over and over again, maybe 10 or 11 times, then continue with the video.
It seems to do it with all types of file. Recorded TV and DVD.
Sometimes hitting the rewind button will bring it out of it, but no other buttons seem to affect it.

This only happens on the server, as my clients are all using 6.3.10

Anyone else noticed this?

I had the exact same problem a while ago. No matter waht file was playing or which media they were on (DVD or hdd) these repeats occurred. As it eventually turned out, one of my hard drives was dying. I replaced the drive and I have never had this problem again so far. I do not know if this is the same case for you but it may be worth looking into before you loose all your data.

I hope it isn't, the drive isn't even a year old! But cheers for that, I have 2 HDD's for recording, so I'll make a note of which drive the stutters are coming from to see if there's a pattern
