I would also suggest clicking on the large uploaded picture to view it bigger.

As you can see it's not done (the fargo background shouldn't show on the main menu and of course null)

sorry for all the post

Nice progress. Very simple. I like it.

What are you using for video playback (if you're that far yet)?

What do you mean by using? As of now I have just linked to the default sage player. I will try and get it skinned but I wanna use the default so things like commercial skip will still work. I also want to add things like automatically playing of the next episode if available to the interface.

If anyone is interested in beta testing the TV part is about ready to test guide and stuff will come shortly send me an email @

Just wanted to say great work... from someone who has written plenty of sage ui code this is not easy stuff to learn and you are doing great so far.

I don't have time to offer to test and it may be clear when using it, but i have a hard time determining the focused item in the screen shots... might just be me.

Great to see options coming to the community

Good luck

k

Thanks and ya I noticed that on the screenshot as well. When your using it it's easier because you see it grow. I may fade out the unselected a bit more. We tried highlighters and are still throwing a couple of ideas around. We realized Android just grows and turns brighter so we are trying to make that work I think the transparency needs to be turned down a bit on the selected. Appreciate the feedback.

I just was wondering if you were using something other than the default player.

I'm willing to test.

There is no "something other than the default player" if you creating a Custom STV (which is what this is).

Ah. Thought this might have been a new android app.

Makes sense now.

Just on update thanks to some discussion with Stuckless and many pointers this project now builds the shows UI from Phoenix VFS. Very powerful and awesome stuff. Seriously don't know where that guy finds the time to write all this stuff.

I will add in a VFS view to the XML and it will be default in this view
Idk if it will be customizable in the interface at this point but those "power" users that want to edit my vfs in XML are free to at their leisure. I am using it now for other reasons as multiple views isn't really in the scope of this UI or project.

Eitherway thanks stuckless for the help and awesome work.

I prefer the top one because you can get more banners on the screen at once, but I do like the second option, appearance-wise. The only nit-pick is that it's a duplication of information already present in the banner.

Is the "original" method the highlight method, as opposed to enlarging the banner? I think that might still be my preference.

If you're looking to try something a little different, what about making the highlight more of a shadow, so that it only shows up underneath and on the left side? I'm no artist, but attached is sort of what I had in mind.

Could leave the enlarged banner or not even have it change size.
