Cool PROJECT LUCID...

Project "LUCID"

How about full YAMMM V2 support. Full Metadata/Fanart for all your movies and TV.

How about an easy simple layout UI without clutter and a overload of options but yet still customizable to a usability extent this is LUCID's goal...

I present your first sneak peak at LUCID.

Details and pricing coming soon......

Ahh... I love the smell of Lucid in the morning.

I'm stoked about the possibilities here. I've never been a big fan of grey themes, but I know you guys will add a bunch more.

Count me in among the people who would be willing to pay you for your efforts, too. While I've never used SMM because of it's dependence on MM (a disappointing loss for me simply because of how great SMM looks), the integration with YAMMM has me keenly interested.

I thought the whole Ideal of YAMMM was that it runs as a service, and does everything on it's own, in the background.. what sort of 'integration' are you talking about here?

Plucky,

Nice looking UI.

Are you considering changing over to YAMMM from MyMovies? I just got MyMovies installed and you're already talking about YAMMM. Pretty soon I'll have like 3 copies of all the fanart!

But keep of they terrific work!

Thanks for the positive feedback and the support. Answer a couple of the questions

1. Yes it will be a pay addin for LUCID. It will be a one and done deal and none of us are quitting our day jobs over this. I see it no more than a little compensation for the many hours we put into this project and hopefully give us some money for our dev enviroments at best. The pricing is not decided yet but you will get access to all LUCID projects with one purchase.

2. YAMMM integration means just that integration of the YAMMM database and fanart into LUCID. Much like SMM does with MyMovies. While YAMMM is free there will be no other means to pull the YAMMM data into Sagetv outside of LUCID. This is mostly to protect our pay model. LUCID api can run sepeartely and allow YAMMM metadata into other addins/projects fo sagetv. YAMMM V2 is shaping up to be the best metadata scraper I have used to date Mikinho is really doing a great job on this project. It is a very powerful tool and really more than just a fanart/metadata collector.

As for my my project list is done. I promise there is only one of me although at times I wish I could clone myself. The only projects you will see me doing at this time are Diamond, SMM and LUCID. I/We are not killing any of this free projects off as I use them still.

cheers and thanks again for the support

Just fyi YAMMM in it's current form is not the unreleased V2. i should have mentioned that as well. V2 adds TV support along with many many other enhancements/improvements.

I don't mind supporting BMT... it gives me something to do when I'm not working on Phoenix and Android Plus, BMT works exactly as I need/want it to

Your support for it is overwhelming at times don't know how you do it. BMT is a nice product and I take nothing away from that .

It;s a preference thing. YAMMM has features BMT or MyMOvies doesn't like it;s server/ client architeture and caching storage. Some people will like YAMMM some people won't. Just like all things choices are good.

Agreed. Can never have too many choices. I'm actually glad you decided to go to a paid plugin. You are only one guy no matter how many of you there seem to be. Good luck, I look forward to checking it out.
