HD-PVR needs replacing - what should I get

I am getting sick of replacing the power supply on my 2 HDPVRs and would like to replace them. Would I be better off with an internal Collosus, Collosus 2 or HDPVR2?
Cable boxes are in a network closet with headless Sage server so I don't care if internal or external.
Channel changes are through USB-UIRT.
I have 2 open PCI-e slots too.
I only plan on recording in stereo not 5.1.
My main focus is recording quality and stability.
What product misses the fewest recordings and gives the best quality?

Who is your television service provider? Cable or Satellite?

EDIT: Okay, so you mentioned cable boxes, which cable company?

And I did see that thread but I don't want to get into playing with the power of my PC. I've put way too much money into that thing to risk it to my stupidity.

Just my opinion here, but after setting my relatives up with a 6-tuner solution on Charter, I believe the best solution at this time is a cablecard and HD Homerun Prime (3-tuners per Prime).

I'm envious of the fact that you could ditch your HD-PVR's for a far better system (Time Warner here). Oh, and of course you can ditch all your STB's, USB-UIRT's, and the associated STB fees.

You'd still need at least one HD-PVR/Colossus to catch premiums.

90% of my recordings are premium channel recordings. The other 10% is sports. So I do not think cablecard is the way to go for me.

I could record every movie that airs on HBO once, and it likely wouldn't be 90% of my recordings...

I have all the premium channels (HBO, STARz, Showtime, TMC, Cinemax, EPIX, Encore and all their variants).
These are 90% of my recordings as I get my TV Shows into Sage through other means. Other than sporting events I very rarely record any of the other channels...
So, I think I should stay away from any CableCard solutions and either keep replacing the power supplies of the HDPVR or go with one of the colossus'.
I gues I need to get some consensus around the reliability of the Colossus or the Colossus 2...

If you don't mind my asking, what types of power supplies have you used most recently? I just replaced the adapter on my flaky HD-PVR with a unit recommended here and sold on Amazon, but the flakiness has continued. I have four other HD-PVRs that have not given me problems in years of use, but they do not all use the same type of power adapter ...

I have 2 HDPVRs and I must have replaced the power supplies of each at least twice. I have always gotten them from Hauppauge direct and one time I used one that I think was for a router I had...

I ended up just replacing the power supplies and keeping the HD-PVRs.
