SageTV won't launch, 0xc0000005 error

So I tried out a new plug-in today (it's the new YouTube (2015) plug-in) never got it to work, kept saying it was downloading videos and then stop. after a few failed attempts with it, I tried to relaunch the local client. wouldn't load. So I shut down the SageTV service... well, since I've done that, now all I get is 0xc0000005 (in the Windows event viewer) when trying to launch SageTV.exe or the service. I don't want to blame the plug-in but I fear something was munged by it as I believe it was trying to write downloaded videos to OS drive storage.

it doesn't get far enough to write anything to the logs. It appears to have shutdown cleanly.

Where to start to fix this? is there a way to launch the server using java.exe and the Sage.jar file to see what might be happening? if I try to launch it with "java.exe -jar Sage.jar" it complains about a missing Main class so I figured there must be a special entry class.

Check see if your drive is full. It's unlikely the plugin directly killed your system.

28 GB free.

Is there a way to launch the jar file? can't think of how else to debug this.

Not that I know of. If you have a recent store point try rolling back to that.

build 1.6.0_45-b06

not sure how I settled on that version, but there ya go.

all other Java apps seems to run fine (Azureus etc.). Even the Sage Control Panel runs, which I believe uses Sage.jar too.

FYI. it was one of the JARs installed by the YouTube (2015) plugin that was killing it (at least on my system). there are a bunch of JARs, including many from Google. Could be something specific to my system, maybe my Java version (1.6). I did try on Java 1.7, and SageTV still wouldn't launch.

Can you be more specific? Which JAR? My system runs java 1.6 with no problem.
