Sage won;t launch, java error, help!
I have a new problem with Sage, when trying to launch it after the splash screen I get a Java exception error, I don't have it in front of me but the error reads something to the effect of: Java nullpoint exception error. I have reinstalled the latest version of Sage, also I have un-installed Java and reinstalled the latest version, finally I have tried a reinstall of DirectX, does anyone have any ideas as to the problem, or do I need to contact support?

Have you tried deleting the sage.properties file & its backup? How about wiz.bin & its backup? (Actually: move the existing files to another location instead of deleting them, in case that isn't it & you want to return to the old wiz.bin file.)

No I haven't tried deleting these files yet, I will this evening when I get to that PC, thanks for the reply. As for the exact error message it is:
"An Exception Occurred in Java: java.lang.NullPointerException." |

I uninstalled (then rebooted) and then reinstalled the latest Java version when I had this problem. Problem solved.

The tried the Java reinstall and it didn't fix anything, with that said the problem seems to be solved now that I deleted everything in the Frey folder and did a new install, so far so good, thanks for the replies and help.
