Folder Paths not Updating
I would like to know how to get the folder paths to update.
I have a folder where I download items to, then move them out of that folder to organize them at a later date. Sage keeps the original location, even when that file has been move to the new location. I have to scroll threw thousands of files to find stuff, and performance it being effected when stopping or going back to browse the location. What can I do to deal with this? |

There is a property you can set to reset the location data. Sorry at work , I can't give your the name. Remember to set it back afterwards!!!

Click into the details of one of the files you moved and scroll to the very bottom, and see if it lists the correct path. If that's the case, but the file doesn't show up in the folder where it's located, I have found you can do the following:
1. Move the file to a folder that you don't have as an import folder for Sage. 2. Scan media (after which, Sage will no longer know the file exists at all). 3. Move the file back where you want it. 4. Rescan media. Works for me in the occasional time I see this occur. I created a "temp" folder on the same drive as the files I do this to, so the file moving only takes a split-second rather than the time to move it from one physical drive to another. The only time really taken is the time to scan the media. You can do the media scan without even going into Sage if you have the webserver plugin installed; it's at the bottom of the main page of the (non mobile) webserver.
