HDHomerun not picking up OTA (EIT) guide

Hello all, I've just got a new HDHomerun HDHR4-2DT(AU) and the epg is very flaky, it seems to be decoding only some of the data from the DVBt stream, any ideas where to start? all was fine with pci capture cards.
I think it's a HDHR issue, but thought I'd try here too.
PAL, DVBt, Australia

Cheers,

Fraser

Can you test if the Silicondust android app (Assuming you have a phone/tablet) can see a complete EPG ? At least you can then isolate the problem slightly..

Thanks Brewston,
I'm pretty sure their app uses their epg server, and not the data in the OTA stream (which they are in the process of fixing) however the EIT data here in Australia is more than adequate for me. I'm pretty sure that I need to use their software to receive their epg, however I'm using SageTV. I will try some other DVR software today and see if it is any different, that will help narrow it down I hope!

Ta,

Fraser

update:
I have just installed Nextpvr, and all of the epg data is there in it's guide!!
Hmmm, so the data is there, just Sage can't seem to find it reliably!
I have no idea where to go with this now - SageTV is no longer supported LOL

Time for XMLTV I guess. Even though SageTV can extract the EPG through EIT here in the UK, I've always used XMLTV (It's partly historical as I started off with analogue tuners 9 years ago)

I was using XMLTV too for a long time, then the data started coming down our DVBt stream, and it all just worked perfectly. I might have to go back to it......

I bought a HDHR4-2DT- UK and confirm that this problem exists in the UK too. I created a channel lineup without using XMLTV and SageTV doesn't seem to be able to read the EIT data from the HDHR. When I've configured the Hauppauge tuners previously in a similar manner, they could read the EIT data.
