New HD300 always wants to play something
I just got one of the new HD300's. It's my 2nd, but I've had the other for quite a while and remember nothing of the setup process. I'm having a strange problem with the new one. As soon as it boots into sage, it starts playing as if I hit watch live tv. If I stop it (2xstop), it will stop, then resume. If I pause it and play a file, it will start again as soon as I stop the file. I can't find any setting that controls this and I've tried several firmware versions and they all do the same thing. What am I missing?

Do you mean it jumps to the playback screen, or that is plays live TV in a window on the menu?
If on the menu: use the Options command and change the Display Video on Menus setting to something other than "Always". Andy
