This happened to me once when I restored a wiz.bin that was a week or so old.

EPG data problems?

Anyone else having EPG data problems? I've done several forced updates (toggle channel off and on in channel setup method) on evening of 2/20 and still getting a lot of "No Data".

Upon searching my EPG, I have a couple No Data's up through March 4th. March 5th has a bunch, but that's beyond available data. Pretty normal here.

Thanks KryptoNyte.... it must have been a firewall issue. I added the EPG port in Norton Security Suite and also removed and re-added all sources and now have guide data again. I upgraded from WHS 1 to Windows 7 a couple weekends ago, so that may have been the source of the issue. I appreciate your quick response and pointing me to the fix.

EPG Updates..

Has anyone else's EPG stopped updating this week? My Program Guide only goes up to 7pm on Feb 28. Beyond that, it's 'No Data'. Usually, it shows 2 weeks (roughly) ahead. I'm using the default EPG data configuration that SageTV v7.x comes with.

I checked my server via the web interface and it's showing that it is still performing EPG update checks regularly (last one was this morning) but, still no data. I haven't seen any announcements on the forum about the data stopping anytime soon.

This happens every now and again but, when it gets down to the last few days of EPG data, I start to get nervous. Without EPG data, SageTV is fairly useless as a DVR.

UPDATE:
I rebooted a few times and tried forcing a manual EPG update, with no luck. I then deleted and re-added my Channel setup for my main tuner. Within about 20 mins, EPG updated to show EPG data for the next two weeks. Looks like I'm fixed now.
