Channels changed frequencies, now they don't work

Hi,
In my area, 2 sets of channels (7 channels/LCNs in total) changed frequencies due to government rules.

After this happened, I haven't been able to get these channels in SageTV (Win 7 x64). I use LMGestion XMLTV Importer to get the guide from IceTV (Australia) into SageTV, and it worked fine before the frequency changes. I've now rescanned the channels in the HDHomerun setup and re-added the sources in SageTV...I can preview these channels in the HDHomerun setup, but I only get "No Signal" in SageTV for them. The EPG displays the right shows, but maybe they're the listings for the old frequencies or something. Any ideas what I need to do to fix this?
Thanks

Hi Bane,
Same thing happened to me. I am no expert at this stuff, but the below info seemed to work for me.
You will need to update the file PredefinedDVBT.frq (just search for it on your SageTV server) with the new frequencies.
I updated the file with the following information (within the file, search for 'Canberra' to find the right place):

"Australia-Canberra"
frq:191500000;band:7;
frq:177500000;band:7;
frq:184500000;band:7;
frq:226500000;band:7;
frq:219500000;band:7;
{tune:1;pat:6;sdt:16;}

The frequencies were found at http://myswitch.digitalready.gov.au/

I also re-booted the server in case that was required. Then re-scan / update the sagetv sources.

Please let us know how you get on.

Good luck!

Thanks mate. I thought I'd subscribed to this thread, but apparently I didn't...no email, so I only saw your reply today. But I'll give it a try and post how it goes

I finally got around to giving this a try...unfortunately it didn't work. I think it's on the right track though, something in this file or a similar one in the Sage config files is stopping it from working. I'm going to have a closer look at your link, maybe they changed again or are different for different towers around here or something...gonna fix this damn thing eventually

btw, is there no official SageTV support anymore? I sent them a message and got no response. Is SageTV even really active anymore since it was bought out?

Merry Xmas all
