SageTV Service stops after a few minutes

I have a recurring problem that I just can't seem to resolve, and I'm not sure where to start. A few months ago I purchased a Placeshifter license from another user, but every single time I have attempted to enable this feature and then connect the Placeshifter notebook computer to my server (local network), it lasts just a few minutes and then the SageTV service stops on it's own (on the server).

From this time forward, every single reboot and consecutive start of the machine or the service, without any other activity, results in the SageTV service stopping on it's own after just a few minutes (very frustrating). I have had to resort to image backups (thank goodness for those images), but I would really like to get this issue resolved. Where do I start troubleshooting this issue?

I had a very similar issue, mine was when I introduced
a new HD300. Had thought the HD300 was faulty
And stopping the service, but turned out to be
A power saving plugin I had.
Disabled this and all ok...

Do you remember which plugin that was specifically, Stu?

I have "Automatic Power Off" and "Basic Sleep Timer" installed and enabled.
