SageTV Version from license keys

I stopped using SageTV when it was sold.

I have one server, 3 client, and one extender license keys. I believe all were purchased from early 2011 and later. I also have an stx-hd100 with a key.

Is there any way to tell from the license keys what version they are for?

I want to sell them and with all the changes that have happened does it even matter anymore what version they're for?

Client and extender licenses are independent of the version.

For the server, version 6 licenses are 5 sets of 6 characters (30 total) while version 7 licenses are 10 sets of 6 (60 total). I don't know about licenses prior to that.

Though, as you point out, it is now possible to use a v6 license with v7.

Strange, I have a version 7 server license that I bought direct from SageTV (bundled with an HD300) that is 5 sets of 6 characters (30 total)...
