Is this the license that allows you to use a hauppauge Mediamvp?

Yes, it is.

The MVP required a seperate license key vs the HD200/300 (not sure about 100) that had the key built into the unit.

one server license needed
I need one server license. I lost my server hard drive and replaced it. While reloading the software I do not have the key from my original SageTV purchase! DRATS! I am down until I buy a new one - can you help me?

You should be able to use the downloaded SageTV server software for 21 days without needing the key. During the 21 days, you can send an email to support and they should be able to provide you with your original key.
