WHS and old license keys

OK, I haven't been able to find anything with a search, but maybe I just missed it....

Is it possible to install SageTV on WHS with an old 4.x key and the upgrade key? I bought SageTV way back in 2006 and later purchased an upgrade key when version 6 came out. I'm trying to enter the old key into the SageTV settings in the WHS console and it just keeps coming back as being invalid.

Is there any advice on this, or am I going to have to purchase a new license?

I believe that console key entry is for placeshifter/extenders not for the server itself.

"License Key Registration:
Once installation is complete, launch SageTV or SageTV Client in order to register the software. The first time SageTV is launched, you will be presented with a reminder to enter your license key:
If you are using the 21-day trial of SageTV, just click OK to bypass the license key screen. If you have already purchased the software and have received your license key, select Enter Key."

yeah, I decided to try that right after posting and it worked fine. I didn't even think about it until then because of the recommendation of not running the client on the WHS box....

It sure would be nice to be able to just enter it in the console though

I was able to enter the key in the SageTV Media Center Add in console page for WHS and after I did it the warning about trial went away. I presume and hope it worked.
