HD200 causing Sagetv server software to crash?

from time to time (at least semi-monthly), my server crashes after being accessed by one of my HD200's. Essentially, the circle of death appears on the server screen, and a restart is mandatory - stuttering recordings are another side-effect of this.

Note: I tend to keep the Sage interface open on my server, as it's in my office and I don't have a media extender there - why would I?

Has anyone else had this problem? Can't even think of how to track what would cause this.

is it coincidence, or could the HD200 be sending some funky command when it's shut down (I shut down, or exit, the HD200 after use)?

My system started having a similar issue. I have two HD200s and multiple HD300s. Just recently I'm noticing that one of my HD200s (I think the oldest one I own) is causing the spinning circle and is crashing and responding extremely slow.

I'm starting to wonder if the device is starting to die.

Before I replace it with an extra HD300 I'm going to try deleting its settings file on the server and then restoring it. Perhaps you should try to the same.
