Lightning Fried my Sage - Current DirecTV receivers

Yep. I lost a couple of TV's and a HD300 and a '200 as well as a HDPVR. The Server is intact. Lots of other random damage -- Garage door openers, Central Vac, etc.

Anyhow, I lost a DirecTV H21 which I was using the ethernet method to tune. What I need to know is, Do I need to Ebay another H23 or H21 or does the current version that you buy from DirecTV support the network tuning?? I thought perhaps that someone who has done recent business with DirecTV might know.

I apologize if this information is on the bb somewhere, but I'm in damage control mode and am short for time.

Thanks in advance,

Chuck

I purchased a H24 from Solid Signal and it works fine with HTTP tuning. I got it because it didn't have a dongle for the Component outputs like the H25. It didn't have optical audio like I though so I had to get a coax to optical converter to connect it to my HD-PVR but it works fine through the converter so far. I did have problems getting it to work initially but it could have just been because I was also trying to setup composite recording out of it at the same time. Not doing that now and it is working just fine and producing 5.1 and 1080i recordings on a HD-PVR.
