HD200 Via Slingbox?
I can aim the IE emitter on my Slingbox at an HD200 and get a little bit of Sage functionality, but there is no HD200-specific virtual controller available, so it's pretty much a dead loss.
Somewhere, somebody mentioned a Hauppauge device that sounded like it was enabling full SageTV functionality via Slingbox/Slingplayer. Has anybody been there? Other solutions?

However, I don't suggest using the Slingbox remote for much more than turning the HD200 on/off. The issue with the built in IR blaster is that the video feed from the Slingbox is on a ~5 second delay so sending commands can be tedious to say the least. A good work around for that is to setup TiSageTV remote and use your phone to select what to play on the HD200. I use it and it works great (no longer crashes after the developer (Fonceur) updated the app a month ago). I can't speak to the Hauppauge device but I love my Slingbox. The quality if amazing, especially when using a laptop to feed into a HDTV (full 1080p that looks better than Netflix (though no 5.1 audio)

I'm using my HD200 with a Slingbox as well. I use the free mobile web server and it works great. I had a problem using the remote file for the HD100 with the newer slingbox 350, so I just use the Microsoft Media Center remote profile and trained the HD200.

I didn't have to do any modifications to my HD200 but your work around was clever.

One question: how is your response time? I'm getting about four seconds between the time I press a button and the time I see something happen on the SlingPlayer screen. I'm pretty sure it's all due to the SlingBox/SlingPlayer because I get near-instantaneous response when controlling an HD200 that is connected to a TV or computer screen instead of the SlingBox.

I have the exact same response time. Slingbox buffers the recording so you are on about a 5 second delay. I don't believe there is anyway to modify this.
