new Doctor Who....

Peter Capaldi is the new Doctor Who. I dunno, seems like he's too old, and too safe....

Actually, I think they needed to go older. They'd been getting younger and younger since the show came back. And he is supposed to be a 900+ year old time lord.

Plus I think the whole sexual tension between the sidekicks and the Doctor was getting old. This kinda takes care of that.

well, if they sat a guy who looked 900 years old next to Amy Pond, that WOULD be creepy. This choice just seems un-risky

Have you seen any of the early Doctors? I thought it was an unwritten rule that The Doctor got younger with each regeneration. In another 50 years The Doctor will be in diapers and Amy Pond will return as his nanny!
