How Do You Revert to Stock?

I'd like to give Gemstone a try, but before I do I want to make sure I know how to revert back to the stock UI if I have problems. Since Gemstone doesn't appear to be a full STV replacement, I'm not sure how to do it. And, somewhat surprisingly, I can't find anything on the forums about how to do it.

Can anyone help me out with that? By the way, this seems like a natural question for the FAQ (though, apparently it isn't all that frequently-asked if I can find the answer).

Gemstone is released as an STV replacement even though it is really just the Gemstone changes on top of the current SageTV base.

Regardless, to revert or switch back and forth you just need to disable the Gemstone plugin and set the STV from Gemstone.xml to SageTV7.xml either in the UI or in the .properties.

The only other change you may want to make is the current Theme setting. Gemstone checks and forces a Gemstone theme so if you go back to the SageTV7 STV then you likely also want to set the Theme to one of the SageTV standard themes.

That should be it.
