I have had a stable running SAGETV 6 system for years, just recently changed out my pvr-500 to a hvr-2250...with the latest drivers
PROBLEM all seemed to go well until i started getting timeline issues the recording would go to a blue screen for split second and then the timeline would jump back to the beginning... the timeline would no longer match up with what was playing when fast forwarding or skipping forward on my extender i changed my driver to 22xxxdrv_27323 from the latest and it did not help i shut off comskip as well, this did not help when i play back the files on vlc media player they play back fine, no skipping and timeline is fine... do i have a bad card? or is this a sage tv issue? system winxp sagetv v6.6.2.218 I would like to add that im using the 2250 for analog cable feed... |

It sounds like a bad recording.
Before returning the card, try swapping out the COAX cable. I had an issue like that once and it was due to a bad cable.

thanks Will... just tried another feed, from my pvr 150 card, no luck same issues, seems like the card has a hiccup and it messes up the entire timeline

You are probably using the wrong driver for the 2250. Some of the newer drivers had this issue. Go to this page and use the drivers in the file called 22xxdrv_27323

What is your operating system? I also had a big issue with my 2250 on Windows 2003/WHS V1.
