Constant Web Interface crashes?

Hi,

I've run into a weird little glitch in that nearly every time I first try to login to the web interface via another PC on the network, the web interface has crashed.

Attached is a screen shot of what it looks like.

To fix this, temporarily, I have to VNC into my HTPC and restart the Sage Service. Right after doing this, BMT reloads perfectly, but after several hours it goes down again.

Any ideas?

Typically I have only see this when Jetty (the web server that is used by sagetv web plugins) fails to publish an application. It's been rare that I've seen it, but when I do, a server restart (as you are doing) is required to fix it.

If this is recent, have you made any changes to your system lately? Installed any new plugins, changed jvm memory setting, etc?

The next time this happens, try sending me the sagetv_0.txt log file from your Sage install dir, and I';ll see if i can see anything odd in there.

It's been happening nearly ever since I installed BMT -- over a year ago -- I just never got around to reporting it.

I'll send you a log next time it happens. Thanks!

It happened again -- took longer than usual, but I did have to reboot that machine a couple of times for other reasons.

I'll send you my log file, starting with my last successful use of BMT the previous night.
