Constant Lockup

My SageTV 2.2.4 Beta Server keeps locking up. I can reboot it and go to the setup menu and work in that area, but as soon as I go to Channel Setup or Recordings it just locks up on me...

I would love to revert to an old win.bin from Dec/2004, but I do not want to lose my recordings...

Two Questions:
1. Does anyone know of a way to "re-import" recordings?
2. Does anyone know how to "re-build" the wiz.bin? Or at least run a utility against it to verify it is not currupted?

Sorry to hear you're having such problems, but unless things have changed massively while I was on vacation, there is no way to re-import videos without putting htem into the "Imported Videos". Also, there are not any "wiz.bin" maintenance tools to my knowledge.

I ran into this problem (crashes, acting buggy) as well.....

...wound up slicking it and reloading. It's now been over a week and *NO CRASHES* !!!!

Incidentally, the picture looks a lot better, too. Suggestion = copy your "frey" folder to another computer before wiping, then you have a reference when you go to set things back up again. For instance, I was able to copy/paste all the custom remote codes back in. My channel lineup changed, but if yours didn't, you could copy/paste that as well.
