Is there any way to put a Favorite on hold?

I have a Favorite set to record Toronto Raptors NBA games. The Raptors channel is replaying some games from 2012 (why I don't know since the team was awful) and these are marked as first run and are being recorded. I don't want to delete the Favorite since it is more likely that I will forget to turn it on when the season starts and I may have trouble configuring it correctly for the right settings.

Is there any way that I can put a Favorite on hold or classify it as inactive?

I think the anti-favorite plugin might be what you're looking for? http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48899

Can you exclude based on time of year? Isn't that would I would do in this instance? Or would it be used in a slightly different way?

You can always limit it to a channel that doesn't air the show. When you want them to record again, remove the restriction.

Have a look at the Enable/Disable Favorites plugin

Maybe that is what you're looking for?

I have done this and it is a great and simple solution. However, don't forget to remove the restriction in the future.

Thanks everyone - the enable/disable plugin is perfect for my purposes. Now I just have to remember to reenable it once the season starts.
