|
QIP 7100 and firewire channel changin
Hi all
Trying to get firewire to work for my new QIP 7100s. I got a firewire card and it shows up properly in devices (winXP 32b), but when i plug the cable boxes in, it's as if i've done nothing. No unrecognized devices, device manager doesn't even blink. other than a bad firewire cable or card, is there anything else to check? thanks

I saw those... None of them are having the issue i'm having, where the boxes simply don't show up.
I'm starting to suspect a bad FW card. Will find another FW device to on it... Does it matter if the FW card is 400 or 800? Mine is 400. I only want to change channels, not record video thru fw...
