im really frustrated by the foreign box covers in coverflow in diamond via BMT. Is there some way to fix this? Any suggestions on a plug in to correct it manually?

Go into BMT and delete the offending fanart. Or choose a different cover for default.

I search by name. Any idea why my search stopped working?

Are you using "Title contains" or "Title equals" or "Title begins with" in your searches. If you just type the title it assumes it is title equals and needs to be an exact match.

PQL Searches

You can use PQL (Phoenix Query Language) to construct simple or complex searches against metadata fields.
Examples

The following query search for all media files where the genre contains horror or thriller

Genre contains 'Horror' or Genre contains 'Thriller'

The following query search for all media files where the MediaType has not been set

MediaType is null

You can also group conditions and use and or or to create a more complex query. The following query is basically what BMT uses to find missing metadata

MediaType is null or MediaTitle is null or (MediaType = 'TV' and EpisodeNumber = 0)

If you enter a search with only 1 or 2 words then that search will be treated a Title = 'Search Criteria'. i.e., the follow query will search for all shows with a Title of House

Notes

FieldName are case sensitive
and and or is case sensitive
The following operands are supported: =, >, <, <>, is null, is not null, contains
The complete list of Metadata is not nicely documented but you can decipher the Field Names from this file.

Now something is screwy I went through all my fan art and then used diamond to recache my clients fan art and it all seems gone in BMT now?! Holy moly.

Anyway I saw this:

"C:\serveranart\Movies\The Adjustment Bureau"

I don't have a directory names serveranart and it looks like an F is missing - what is this?

If I were to guess, then someone (either you or someone in your family) changed the Central Fanart Dir to that location??

BMT didn't it. If it did, it would look something like, userdata/Phoenix/Fanart.

What does bmt report as your central fanart folder? And are you using clients and extenders, if so, you'll probably set your fanart location on each client as well, (extenders will just the user the server value set via bmt web ui)

No one changed it. NO ONE. I don't know WTF but I am livid. I waste so much time making my meta datand box covers right and then diamond didn't show it. So I re-cached on my HD300 and now its all gone and I have some red line saying the central fan art directory is wrong.

How and where do I change it to or find my old crap so I can make it work?!

I found the directory and set it properly. I think everything is ok. The question is what do I do so that diamond gets the newest fanart without screwing it up on the server?
