Plugin: Season Premiere Guide Borders
"Season Premiere Borders For Guide" in the plugin repository.

Latest Version is 1.1

Very (and I mean very...) basic plugin that adds a red border to the EPG for all shows that are "Season Premieres" and a yellow border for all shows that are "Series Premieres" based on their extra airing info.

Works with Diamond 3.3 on 7.1.9 and the default STV 7.1.9. Probably will work fine with older 7.x.x versions but not tested.

I'm just lazy and I poke around in the guide the night before looking for interesting shows to record so this makes them a bit more obvious...

After the premieres are over you can disable it or whatever you like

Any suggestions are welcome.

I am curious to how you determine premieres because even in the sample above Unforgetable is a new series and premiere. If I use Custom menus it shows up as a premiere. As a matter of fact it is the Pilot.

I'll try fix that, I was checking in the extra airing info for the presence of "season premiere" but as you pointed out it could be a "series premiere" so I'll try to add it. I didn't think to check that they might be a new series all together.

Version 1.1 is in the repository adding the Series Premiere borders (yellow) to go with the Season Premiere borders (red).

Happy accident...
Looks like the color coding for premieres carries over to the parallel recording schedule (code is shared with the EPG)
