Tired of too many clicks? Take control now.
Give the ADM plugin a spin http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56395 written by jusjoken.
Hide all the stuff (any level) that you don't use. Create your own menus. Put stuff you always use or use frequently at your Top Level. Rearrange your menus. Put a different background image for every Menu item (caveat would be for sage submenu items - special case). Works great with Diamond and any of the Diamond Movie Views.
