I'm now able to play movie trailers at their full 1080p glory. The fix works great!

Please don't post a question and send the same question via PM. The fix for v7.1.7 would be to upgrade to the latest version.

Actually, you should post in the forum instead of sending a PM. That way, anyone can answer & others with the same question can benefit.

Youtube Now Fixed... Is there a way to Pay for fixes after official support ends?

Opus4, your STV update for Youtube did the job!! Thanks a million.

Once SageTV is no longer officially supported (after 11 months) is it possible that I/we could pay for fixes like this in the future?

I'm willing to pay for program fixes.

Master OPUS4,

It seems that YouTube is acting up once again. Now when you try to access a file, you got a "unable to determine the file to download" error. Thanks for your support.

This seeems to happen quite often. Any chance the fixes can be done through plug-ins and then we can fix it ourselves when support is terminated?

is it possible the latest update would cause my HD200 to not be able to connect to the sagetv server?

it was working correctly last night; only change today was the latest stv update on the server.

Update: very odd. I turned off the Windows Firewall (server 2008) and now the HD200 is able to connect. (I've been using the same windows firewall settings/hd200 for 2yrs)

Sometimes Windows updates may reset the firewall. I've seen it happen before.

I'm not sure about this, but it looks like Andy just made a subsequent YouTube STV update that might allow us to do just this.
