Wife friendly Linux Placeshifter startup
To make Sage more 'Wife' friendly I would like to set my linux placeshifter to start automatically on the default virtual terminal but still have access to the standard desktop by pressing Ctrl-Alt-F2
I did something simular in my MythTV phase a couple of years ago. This is how I did it --> http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Frontend_Auto_Login I searched the Sage forum and it does not appear to be something anybody has tried under Sage Are there CLI options to startup the placeshifter without the prompt to ask what server to connect to? Thanks Last edited by birkey; 06-14-2011 at 08:48 PM. Reason: more info |
