Is this considered an SMM API failure or issue?

Having sorted out my confusion http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55550 I set to figure out the issue with the covers.

It seems that the API configuration reverts to the default choices each time that I exit Sage. The third and fourth item reverse to False and Instanttype, respectively.

This is what causes my issues, because if I change them to True and Full and let the scan run then all changes I have made through the collection app show up (covers, any changes to the data, etc). If I exit Sage and come back in then the changes are gone I am guessing because of the reversal of the API to default.

Is there an easy fix or should I go ahead and send a log?
