Bvf Native Failure

Ok,
Sometime the picture freeze from the PVR 350.
I can still connect to the computer through VNC and SageTV seems ok, but if I restart it, then I have only the video on the PVR output and no more menus...

The last lines in the log file when this happen are:
Quote:
Tue 4/27 18:40:54.611 FOUND:Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Decoder
Tue 4/27 18:40:54.618 BVF NATIVE FAILURE line 4321 hr=0x8007001f
Tue 4/27 18:40:54.750 BVF open350OSD0 called

Tue 4/27 18:40:54.760 BVF NATIVE FAILURE line 4321 hr=0x8007001f
Sometimes it works well for one hour, sometime the problem occurs only after 5 min... weird.

My config is:

12Gb hard drive for the system
160Gb hard drive for the video (64k block size)

Yeah, here's some info about what I submitted.

I wanted to update the behavior of RC2 from my bug submit about the 350 output.

I have noticed this problem to be a little more recoverable. With RC2, the frequency of the 350 output lockups has gone down, but is still frequent enough to be a show stopper.

When the output locks up, it's usually a result of changing from Live TV to a recorded show, or rewinding and fast forwarding.during a recorded show. If I leave Sage on Live TV all day, the output does not lock up.

When the output locks up, there are usually two ways I can recover it now.

One, if I switch to the output on my video card, then navigate to Detailed Settings and reload the Media Player, that will usually restart the video.

Two, if the OSD dies also, then I can usually restart the Media Player, then turn the OSD off and then back on, and get the full output working again.

If I do not reset the media player, and or the osd, and continue with the video card output, Sage is fine, so it's not locking up in any way.

I had that very same problem happen to me last night. The video froze when ff a show. I use the output on the PVR-350. I switched to the video card output and Sage appeared OK. Disabled/Enabled 350 UI output in the detailed setup and everything was fine again. I will add that while I have had the 350 output black out on me, this is the first time I have had a lockup while viewing a recorded show.
