HD100 Remote Keeps Sending IR Code for Online Services
My HD100 remote just started going crazy. Put in new batteries, push any button, and then the remote starts sends the IR code for Online Services. The remote light flashes repeatedly on the HD100 and the screen keeps going to Online Services. Pushing other buttons doesn't do anything. Take the batteries out, put them back in, and nothing gets sent until you push any button, then the cycle starts again.
The remote probably just needs replacing, but I thought I'd post for the record.

You may also be experiencing a dying power supply on the HD100. Quite a few of them have passed away. (Mine included.) Although I never heard of this symptom it could very well be. There is a huge thread on options for replacing the power supply.

Good to know, thanks for the info. I took the batteries out of the remote overnight, and now it seems to work fine. The HD100 worked with my TV remote in the meantime (I used the very handy IR code mapping function to enable it), so I was pretty sure the HD100 wasn't the problem.
