Misc Files

First, thank you guys for all your efforts!

This may be More of a Sage question but I'm really not sure and since I am using Diamond, I thought I would post it here. Running Sage on a WHS and do some downloading with Sickbeard and Sabnzbd. I end up with some misc files along with the the mkv's and avi's. Extensions include, but are not limited to .nfo, .tbn, & .properties. I'd like to delete all these and just keep the videos themselves. But I have not idea what they all do. Can I delete them to get my folders cleaned up? (hoping there is an easy answer

I think you should be able to delete them when you are adding to your library.

When I rip BR/DVD to mkv all I have in the end is a MKV file in a folder. Once BMT/Phoenix scrapes the fanart I have everything showing up in Sagetv/Diamond so I don't think there is a need to keep the extra files you mention.

Hope this helps.

J

Just found this thread. I recently started using SABnzbd and it has settings to delete all extra files, rename the video according to your preferences and then move it into a specific folder. It's a beautiful thing when it's all set up.

I'm looking for integration with SageTv much like XBMC and Plex are doing.
