Out of Memory Errors

Hi All,
Hope this is the right place to post.
I have a win7 64, 6 gb memory, headless system, with two HD300s. I am constantly getting out of memory errors requiring me to restart my sagetv box. This is a real pain because my box is in a closet. I have allocated
1024 mb of memory to sage.

Has anyone experienced this, and what should I do to get this resolved? I am running the latest firmware on the HD300 and the latest sage.

This is likely due to a plugin or combination of plugins. To verify you can uninstall your plugins and validate that these errors go away. Then you can start adding them back in 1 at a time and checking to see what memory usage looks like.. I would recommend giving them at least a couple of days in between plugin adds to make sure memory leaks or something like that have been given time to impact your system.

What should my java memory be with plugins disabled or uninstalled? What usage am I looking for in respect to (Used/Total/Max). I have two HD300 attached and my memory goes above 500 sometimes. I am currently showing 347/486/1038. I would really like to start using Comskip and Playon again. Thanks.

Do you have Diamond installed? We've got a memory leak that happens sometimes and we're working on fixing.

I had out of memory errors and it was because I didn't have enough system memory on the server. Also put a log file in so we can check it out. Sometimes pictures can cause that issue as well.

Diamond is currently uninstalled. I have had all the plugins uninstalled for the past two weeks. I am concerned because I still saw heavy usage with no plugins enabled. Yesterday I decided to enable comskip and playon.

I don't see any out of memory errors in either of your log files. Is it with a client or the server?

It's with the server. I have not had any out of memory problems since I disabled all the plugins. My concern is what usage is considered normal with no plugins installed? Also when I reinstall the plugins how do I know when a plugin is creating a problem?

You will see the sageui close for what seems like no reason. At least that is what happened with my client. Install plugins one by one and when it happens post a log.
