can't install 7.1.5 [RESOLVED]

i can't install 7.1.5

i tried on top of 7.1.2 (after yesterday backing out of 7.1.4) and it seemed to install ok,
but when i started up sageTV on the server PC, it asked me for my license information, which it then rejected. i tried to continue with 21 day trial option but that failed with a pop up 'null pointer' java warning.

i re-installed 7.1.2 for now and submitted a bug report.

running xpPro, sp3

When I installed 7.1.5 overtop of the last 7.0.x build, I had to uninstall SageTV, then reinstall it, and it worked. I did not copy down the java error I got because I had to get Sage back up and running.

Don't worry, your sagetv properties, wizbin, and plugins will not be uninstalled, just SageTV.

major brain freeze here

i re-downloaded the 7.1.5beta and found it was a little larger than the previous downloaded file, then ran it and the upgrade from 7.1.2beta went perfectly.

then i went to look at my download directory and found the previous version that had failed was actually the sage client (which i don't use), not the server...........sorry for the waste of anyone's time

all is well here
