Fix for HVR-2250 in V7.1.2 Beta

We've got a fix for the problem with the HVR-2250 in the V7.1.2 beta. Just open the zip file attached to this post and then replace your DShowCapture.dll file in the SageTV program folder with that one.

ALSO, you need to edit your Sage.properties file (or you'll see 2 Digital TV Tuner items listed in setup, which won't cause any technical problems, just possible user confusion). Do this while SageTV is not running. Open it with Notepad, and then search for '100/1' (no quotes) and then delete all the lines that contain that which also start with mmc/encoders. For 7.1.3, we'll update the core to make that correction automatically.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

I installed the fixed .dll before I ran 7.1.2 for the first time - and my property file didn't have any "100/1" references in it - is that normal?

btl.

New SageTV user here, I've got dual HVR-2250's and I'm wondering if you can expand on what "the problem" is... I just added the 2nd HVR-2250 so I'm not sure if the problem I was experiencing is still present or not, but when I only had 1 card I could watch Digital channels for a while and then the video would corrupt, audio would be fine. Flipping the channel up and back would fix it.

the patch seems to have solved the problem with the tuner cards but my Dish211/R5000HD is no longer there and does not show up in the "add new source" list.

Any ideas on this?
