Channel Setup doesn't let me deselect the SD stations and leave the HD ones enabled

I'm setting up SageTV 7, finally. I have an hvr-1250 and an hd-pvr installed. My old system, which is currently still running, until I get 7 stable, has a 2250 and an hd-pvr. The old system works fine, and the new system seems ok so far, except when I select my channels.

When I run across a pair of channels that represent SD and HD versions of the same thing, deselecting the SD channel also deselects the HD channel. Sometimes it will let me turn off just the HD version, but never just the SD. For example, on the hd-pvr, which is turning a dish network STB, I see 111-DIY-[876] and 111-DIYHD. If I select one to turn it on, they both come on. If I pick either one to turn it off, they both go off. I don't want to tune the SD channels, ever. I don't want them in my lineup. This wasn't a problem in SageTV 6, and I didn't have to jump through any hoops to get it working.

Has version 7 introduced new hoops?

Same Problem

I had the same problem setting up dish network. I found that un-checking the channel number in the bracket (I.E. 876 in your case) let me check and un check the SD and HD channels individually. somehow it is mapping the 111 and 876 channel together.

Thanks manic, that takes care of my problem. I don't remember having to do that in v6, but I'm good now.

This does seem like something new in 7.x, but honestly I don't change my channel setup enough to open a support ticket. Also I have only seen the issue with DirecTV and DishNetwork.

Wonder if anyone on cable has the issue?
