MyMovies and Playon

Installed MyMovies and works great. I noticed integration with Playon Netflix/Hulu and was wondering if I should have installed that first? Will MyMovies still pick up the playon plugin if I install it last?

Yes you need to use the importer by EP as well and make sure and set the configuration settings to mymovies mode for movies. Then add that main movies directory to your monitored mymovies folders and you are good to go. Use a separate directory so mymovies can properly filter your playon movies form the rest in SMM.

Got home last night and tried this and have not been able to get the playon movies to show up in my movies yet.

Here is what I have done so far...

1. installed playon and got it working

2. installed the Netflix/hulu Queue importer, went to configure plugin and changed MyMovies mode to "True"

3. created a folder on my server called "PlayOn" and changed the Playon queue import path to \\myserver\PlayOn

4. Went to detailed settings in Sage and created a new import directory to \\myserver\PlayOn

5. Went back to configure the queue importer and hit Update Videos Now. All movies and TV shows from my Netflix/Hulu queue showed up properly under the "PlayOn" folder I created on the server. They also showed up properly in the video tab in Sage along with metadata from BMT. (Side question - does BMT and My Movies fight for this sense they both grab metadata?)

6. Went to Collection Management and selected tools ---> options and added \\myserver\PlayOn\Movies to monitored folders

7. went to my movies in sage, view filters ---> include playon. didnt get anything then rebuilt database and still nothing.

Are they in collection manager?

Bmt and mymovies don't have any conflicts

ahh - no they are not in collection manager. guess that explains why my movies is not showing anything. im running ver. 3.19 (pre-release 4) on CM

ok, got it i didnt have operating type and operating location selected. worked like a charm as soon as i corrected that. I selected loose and collection management. Thanks again
